My first great dog was Bako de Keranlouan OFFA “Good” imported at 1 year old from Brittany France after our first fall litter.
I contacted the Keranlouan kennel knowing of their reputation for being the best hunting kennel in the world of the Epagneul Breton breed.
Bako was just that, a super hunter! Natural pointing, retrieving, water work, simply a machine in the field. He made wild bird hunting easy, if there was a bird around he was finding it.
Conformationally he was Excellent (Regis Toulet) blocky head, cob body, 49-50 cm, nice head carriage and gait.
He produced as such. 50+ healthy puppies scattered throughout the United States, bold fearless hunters.
He was a lot of dog, bold and competitive. Difficult to finish train, his prey drive and adrenaline always got the best of him.
Bako was retired from our kennel at 5 years old.
